By plane:

Asturias Airport is located in Santiago del Monte, in the municipal district of Castrillón, 45 km. from Oviedo and 40 km. from Gijón. There are regular flights to Madrid, Barcelona, La Coruña, Tenerife, Palma de Mallorca, Málaga and Alicante. There are also flights to London and Paris. Regular flights are connected with a coach service to the cities of Oviedo and Gijón.

Principal routes connecting Asturias with Spain:

• From Madrid: take the toll motorway AP-66 (Autovía de la Plata), or through the A-road N-630.
• From Cantabria or País Vasco: take the motorway A-8 (Autovía del Cantábrico), or the A-road N-634.
• From Galicia: via the motorway A-8 (Autovía del Cantábrico), or the A-road N-632.
